Walking in Li Jiang

Year 2004 means so much to me.
It's a walking year to me, and all it begins with walking in Li Jiang in the spring festival vocation.I think I should write sth to share with you, my friends.
when I was a little girl, I read so many stories written by Echo Chen, who's a special writer with rich experience of walking in this world. So I always have a dream to walk around by myself one day. But I had never tried so till last year.
Now when I look back, I should admit that if one of my firends had had time and had been glad to company me, I would not have had that special experience; if my mom had not encouraged me to go out alone, I would have given up that trip. So thanks for all of them.
The trip began with 5 hours delay of the flight. When I reached to Li Jiang, it's mid night. I can't complain a word when I looked up the sky, seeing thousands of stars shining there. My heart was full of joy at that moment.
The first day I got up late and went to the Yu Long Mountain with a family travellers. The unforgetable time was to take the seat of cableway without any protection. I was so afraid when I saw the tourist group in front of me was just even-numbered which meaned I had to sit in that dangerous seat alone in the air. When it's my turn to start, a local woman with a baby in hand suddenly appeared and She sat beside me with a nice smile, from which I got totally relax. ( It's a pity I didn't take a photo of her.)
The second day I went to Su He, the old town near the LJ city in the early morning alone. When I walked around the town, I met a girl from Qing Hua who's also alone. So I asked her to rent a car with me to watch birds in La Shi Hai. Since she's a postgraduated student, she didn't take much money with her but she promised to pay back to me late. And she did so as she promised late. At that moment, both of us hadn't expected to see a wonderful place, treating it just a small spot in the traveller's book. But when we reached there, we knew it would be a dreaming place in our future momory.( It's another pity I didn't use my camera to take a picture of her. And I even can't remember her name.) The blue sky, the blue lake, the swans and the white snow mountain far away set up an unique picture. And it will always be my dreaming place.
Then I went to the center square to take a seat to see the local people dancing, where I met a grace foreign lady who's an US artist. We had talked for two hours about life and art. From stranger to friend, it could be only that short. Now I still had her greeting now and then by email. Friendship is such a present life gives me without notice.
The third day I had an special experience which I was sure that so few tourists would have the same. I got up early about 6 o'clock in the morning. With only cleaners on the road, I climbed to the highest place of the city, a park. I waited till the first light of the sun coming in the sky and became the first one to enter the park where located the tower, the highest spot in the LJ. I standed there to welcome the sunrise and make a picture of the golden mountain. Then I went down to the center of the city to be the first one having the famous local noodle as the breakfast. I spent the whole afternoon in a second floor of a tea house named " date in this life" to taste the sun of LJ. And before the sunset, I went to the Huang Shi Park to take the whole picture of this city.
When I am writing this artical, I still could remember the music there with all the moments back to my brain. I can't write down all the feelings about LJ here. All I wish to say is thanks for all the unexpect moments in my journey and I would treasure them.
